2023 BMW i7 Spied Testing Against Mercedes EQS, Tesla Model Y And XPeng P7

by Sep Editor

The BMW i7 road test spy photos, although not revealing much information per se, seem to have caused a big gossip in the circle, and the main reason behind this is that the road test car is followed by a model of Chinese car company XPeng Motors.

From the spy photos released by Carscoops, the BMW i7 is compared to a fleet that includes the Mercedes-Benz EQS, Tesla Model Y and the XPeng P7.

The foreign media believes that the i7 is a direct competitor to the Mercedes-Benz EQS, as well as the Tesla Model Y, the world’s best-selling electric car, which is about to start work locally in Germany, and there is really no excuse for BMW to look into these two models, but the presence of the Chinese model XPeng represents some unusual information.

But it also shows that the Chinese new energy vehicle market is already quite mature and that the German manufacturer is taking the Chinese market very seriously.

The BMW i7 will be equipped with a large 120 kWh battery pack with a range of up to 435 miles (700 km). There is also talk of a high-performance version of the model with around 641 hp (478 kW/650 hp).
